Directions to Vassar Golf Course
Entering from the Vassar College Main Gate
After entering the Vassar College main gate off Raymond Avenue, drive straight ahead to the T, then turn right. Next, make your 2nd right turn onto Sunset Lake Drive (just before the white brick building). Follow the narrow, winding road across the one lane bridge. Continue straight ahead past the Walker Field House and the Golf Course will be on your right.
Entering from Chapel Gate Entrance
After entering Chapel Gate entrance, continue straight through first stop sign. Make immediate first right on Sunset Lake Drive (just before the white brick building). Follow the narrow, winding road across the one lane bridge. Continue straight ahead past the Walker Field House and the Golf Course will be on your right.
From Route 55
Use the Manchester Road exit and enter through the gate at the end of Manchester Road, just off Route 55. Follow the road bearing right at the 4 way and the golf course will be just ahead on your left.
From the Taconic State Parkway
From the north, exit at Route 44. From the south, exit at Route 55. (The two routes join in Poughkeepsie). Proceed west to Van Wagner Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie (9 miles on Route 44 and 6 miles on Route 55). Turn left on Van Wagner Road (which becomes Raymond Avenue) and proceed less than 1 mile to Vassar College. The main entrance, a large gothic stone archway, will be on your left.
From Route 9 (South Road)
Exit at the Spackenkill Road (Route 113) exit. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Wilbur Boulevard. At the end of Wilbur Boulevard, turn right on Hooker Avenue. At your first traffic light, turn left onto Raymond Avenue. Turn right into the main entrance of Vassar College, a large gothic stone archway. Drive straight ahead to the T, then turn right. Next, make your 2nd right turn onto Sunset Lake Drive (just before the white brick building). Follow the narrow, winding road across the one lane bridge. Continue straight ahead past the Walker Field House and the Golf Course will be on your right.
